"The rules of the game get posted at the beginning. Each player answers the questions about themselves. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know they’ve been tagged and asking them to read your blog. Let the person who tagged you know when you’ve posted your answer."

This is our new puppy Brewer (nicely named after the Milwaukee Brewers). I am currently operating on only two hours of sleep, but so far I am experiencing a mixture of anxiety and happiness with him.
On Sunday morning, C and I drove over 2.5 hours to Lower Lake, after a fun-filled Saturday of shopping and museum hopping in San Francisco to meet our new puppy. By the time we got to the animal rescue, there were only two puppies left in the litter of 9 to choose from, but we had our eyes set on Brewer (aka Dots) even before we got there.
He is a whiny rascal, but I'm hoping with discipline and love.. he will turn out to be the dog I've always dreamed of. I never realized how much puppies are really like babies.. they need attention ALL THE TIME... and cry.. poop.. pee.. whine.. snuggle... Hopefully he will take to crate training soon! Welcome to the family Brewer!!!
Yay for two three-day weekends coming up!!!!! Too bad all the rain for the past few days has turned the snow into slush in Tahoe.... *please snow... please snow*.... im eager to get back up the mountain!
I'm reaaaaally tired this morning because my subconscious decided to freak the shite out of me last night. It's been about 2 months now since I passed the bar.. and 6 months since I actually took the test, but I'm still having nightmares about it. last night's dream made me wake up in a cold sweat and in tears! Basically the gist of my dream was that the state bar told me that i had to re-take the test over!!! becuase I had used an illegal software... Microsoft Maps on my test... what that has to do with the law, no idea but apparently there was a question on the test that told me to map out the locations of some cities... anyways.. that was against the rules.. and they were telling me that despite passing everything on the test, I had to re-take it only for that reason and that they had captured me on camera using this illegal program! and i was pleading with them that I knew where the locations of the cities were on my own.. and that i had only used the program because i thought that i could, and so that i could turn in an actual map instead of just dots on a page... man.. so i was crying and crying.. hysterically crying.. and i woke up crying.
obviously i'm still stressed out about having taking that test... first thing this morning I checked the state bar website to make sure that I had really passed. and that I dont have to re-take the test! whew....what a relief!
How do you beat writer's block?
Submitted by marvel is my pen name.
I have to literally make myself sit-down with no distractions and just write... my biggest block to writing is not having the motivation to do it AND having access to internet. I'll write one sentence.. and then look something up on cnn, and then write one sentence.. and look at some clothes online. But.. once I get on a roll, writing is a breeze.... its always just getting over that hump.
If you could make a magic wish for a futuristic gadget or high-tech innovation, what would your item do?
Submitted by Red Pen.
I would make a tele-porter machine - just like in the futuristic movies! Then... we wouldn't have to wake up at 6 am to drive to go skiing! AND i could tele-port home to OC and hang out with my parents and brother and future sister, and my best friend ANY TIME i want!!!!
Have you ever been cheated on? Ever cheated?
Submitted by Joe.
Although its never been confirmed, I think its safe to say that I've been cheated on, especially when I found my college boyfriend at the time on an internet dating website looking for "hot, athletic, single women." Loser!
What's the most obsessive-compulsive thing you do in a normal day?
Submitted by Nikki.
The most OCD thing I do everyday... is when i go to bed. After I've set my alarm (and i know that I've set my alarm), I still get up at least once, maybe twice to double-check that it is still set and for the correct time. My worst fear is my alarm not going off in the morning. oh well, its a ritual... just sucks that its sooo cold at night and i have to run and jump back into my bed before my legs and feet get cold!
